TTM Success - Golfer Jerry Pate - May 23rd, 2017 Jerry Pate is a golfer who currently tours on the PGA Tour Champions and was formerly with the PGA. He won the 1976 US Open and 1976 Canadian Open in his first year as a professional golfer. He was also named the PGA's Rookie of the Year that year. His last win came in 1982 at the Tournament Players Championship in which he celebrated his win by famously throwing two of his friends into the lake off the 18th green and diving in himself.
